The Vice Chancellor of the University Meets via ”Microsoft Teams“ the Adminis-
trative and Academic Staff on the Occasion of the Academic Year 2020/2021

been applied for. He also discussed working by fol-
lowing the institutional standards of the Omani Au-
thority Academic Accreditation procedures and the
plan followed.
On another note, the Vice Chancellor talked about
the most important updates on the academic level,
including the number of programs and postgradu-
ate programs the University offers and the addition
of some service facilities on the university campus,
the most important of which are the dormitories for

Students Support Team wraps up the first phase of the orientation events of the academic
year 2020\2021

The Student Support Team wrapped up the first phase of
the orientation events of the academic year 2020\2021,
under the supervision of the Students Counselling Of-
fice in Students Affairs Department. Providing the stu-
dents, especially in their first academic year in the Uni-
versity, with counselling support is significant to ease
up this transition phase and to help them adjust to the
new academic life. Students Support Team is in charge
of helping the students to resume the registration pro-
cedures during the orientation week. Besides that, it
provides the students with the much needed help re-
garding the admission procedure listed on the website
of the Ministry of Higher Education, the obstacles they
might face in looking for a suitable campus and an-
swering their queries about the University regulations.
In addition to that, counselling sessions are regularly
conducted to equip the students with the academic and
personal traits.
