I am a food technology professional with experience in teaching as well as research & development in the field of food science and technology. I have worked as Scientific Officer at Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (2005-2016) and provided technical guidance and R&D services in food processing sector. I have also participated in United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) cluster based study on certification, testing, labelling, marking and packaging for food processors. I have also worked as Individual Consultant for United Nations Development Program Timor-Letse. . Currently, I am working as Lecturer in Food Science at A' Sharqiyah University-Ibra (Oman) since 2016 and actively taking part in teaching and research. I possess in-depth  expertise in Food safety,  product development, food product testing, feasibility studies for industrial food products, consultancy services at national & international level and extensive experience in supervision of research at under and postgraduate level.

Food science and technology is an ever expnading profession. My areas of  interest is food processing, food safety, preservation,packaging and product development.. I am working on novel methods for food product development as well as transferring product development skill to undergraduates students.
