The ASU MBA in Management Program gives professionals with industry experience the tools and confidence they need to take their career to the next level. The MBA curriculum gives you an understanding of contemporary management issues in an ever-changing business environment, and the chance to apply knowledge to real-life management challenges. Through its interactive modules that incorporate extensive use of classroom discussions and real-world business cases, the program allows participants to learn how to gather and interpret industry data to make the tough calls at the right time. By studying an MBA at ASU you'll encounter the latest International Business trends, apply the newest management techniques, and keep challenging yourself.
PROGRAME CONTENT
The taught elements of the program comprise an integrated package of core and elective courses. Courses in the first half of the program are designed to develop an overall management outlook while the second half digs deeper into key management issues.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Students seeking admission to this program must fulfill the following minimum entry requirements:
- possess or have passed (internally at ASU) IELTS 6 or its equivalent
- have a CGPA of not less than 2.3
- have a CGPA between 2.0 to 2.29 and 3 years of professional experience
- have a business degree (other disciplines may need bridging courses)

MBA graduates step up to take influential roles within key industries of Oman and globally. They have the capability and credibility to manage and lead significant projects, teams, units and organizations. Typical jobs for master degree holders include management or supervision of office administration, personnel management, customer relationship management, sales and marketing management, business development, quality assurance, project management, analysts, and so on. Graduates of this will have the knowledge and skills to join public, private or non-government organizations in different job profiles; and will also be able to develop their own business ventures. MBA students could also build on their accumulated knowledge to engage in a further study program such as a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA).).
The graduate from this program can also pursue postgraduate studies and become a research expert by taking on a Ph.D. degree.

A’Sharqiyah University (ASU) is a private institution of higher education located in the north of the A’Sharqiyah region of the Sultanate of Oman. It is located in Ibra 150 km from Muscat, the capital. It was established in 2009 by Ministerial Decision (78/2009) issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
