Teaching and Learning:
I feel that teaching is not only a job mechanically fulfilled. Instead, it is an academic commitment to students. Indeed, I believe teaching and learning comprise a continuous process of acquiring knowledge, skills and dedication. The success of good teaching depends on knowledge of the subject taught and to transmit that knowledge properly to students. I also believe that education should be based on mutual communication and respect between teacher and students. Teaching ought to be based on instructions both inside and outside of the classroom. I do like interactive teaching activities involving the students so that their capabilities and progress can be easily understood. As an educator, I teach to the needs of the students that require the interests to make them active learners. I strongly believe in diversity in teaching. I always up-date my course materials from time to time in order to provide updated information to the students. To maintain a rigorous international standard of my teaching, I have provided all teaching materials through the e-learning system. I have participated in several workshops on teaching methodology and critical thinking. I bring this experience, together with a commitment to continue learning, adjusting and collaborating to my career as a successful university teacher of mathematics.
Courses Taught at A’ Sharqiyah University, at Sultan Qaboos University and Ministry of Education:

iii. Mathematics Teachers Advising and Supervision at Ministry of Education - 2000 - 2021
As an academic supervisor, I have been actively contributing to academic and education advising in the Department of Mathematics at two regions, Dhahira and Burimi. I meet my advisees on a regular basis to discuss their multi-faceted problems in connection with their courses and their students, educational problem, various programs they attend, habits, etc. I feel, we should help them to understand the real-life problems of their students and manage their academic life in a better way.
2022 : Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics - Sultan Qaboos University, Oman
Field of Specialization : Vibrodynamics
Title of Dissertation : Analytical study on the motion of micro-spheres in a viscous fluid driven by flow oscillations
Supervisor : Professor Vladimir A. Vladimirov, first and second year. : Professor Anton Purnama, third and fourth year.
2014 : M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics - Sultan Qaboos University, Oman
Field of Specialization : Fluid Dynamics (Heat and Mass Transfer)
Title of Dissertation : Convective Heat Transfer in Nanofluids.
Supervisor : Professor Mohammad Mansur Rahman
2000 : B.Sc. Honors in Mathematics Education College, Nizwa, Oman
My professional goals are to combine teaching and research into a practical experience for mathematics and engineering students. I consider research as a tool to develop students’ skills for critical thinking beyond textbooks. My general field of research interest is Fluid Mechanics, Vibrations motion, Magnetohydrodynamics and Fluid Dynamics, particularly in the field of Nanofluidic phenomenon, Heat and Mass Transfer. Nanofluid is a new area of research which has lots of real-life applications in various fields of Science, Bioscience, Engineering and Nanotechnology. Over the years, I have established my leadership role in these areas of research publishing quality papers in high impact factor international journals jointly with my collaborators. I strongly believe in collaborative research which provides a broader scope of collecting information and ideas and exchange views with colleagues from different disciplines
