Adnan Kabbani: received the B.S.E.E degree from Damascus University, Damascus, Syria,  the M.Sc. degree from Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, and the Ph.D. degree at the Royal Military College of Canada, Kingston, ON, Canada.

During his Ph.D. Dr. Kabbani worked as SoC engineer for CMC Microsystems Corporation, Kingston, ON, Canada, where he led a project for developing intellectual property block authoring design flow for system-on-chip applications. In 2004 he joined Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada as assistant professor.

In 2010 he moved to Wadi International University (WIU) in Homs, Syria as Head of the Electronics and Communications Department. In 2013 he joined A'Sharqiyah University in the sultanate of Oman where he became an associate professor.

Throughout his career he has published many journals and conference papers, and secured many grants.
