Dr. Ahmed Al Kasbi is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Basic and Applied Sciences, College of Applied and Health Sciences, at A’Sharqiyah University. His research interests lie in the field of mathematical modeling of coastal and environmental systems, with a particular focus on the analytical modeling of effluent discharge, pollutant transport, and tidal dynamics in marine environments. His work addresses challenges related to fluid transport, discharge, and optimization of water distribution networks. Dr. Al Kasbi has over 22 years of academic experience in Oman, having taught at A’Sharqiyah University, Sultan Qaboos University, the University of Technology and Applied Sciences – Ibra, and the Ministry of Education. His teaching portfolio spans a broad range of undergraduate mathematics courses, and his academic responsibilities have included supervising mathematics teachers, advising students, and serving on various institutional committees. He has presented his researches at international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the understanding of environmental fluid mechanics and applied mathematics.
