The Construction Project Management program teaches students about the technology tools and management processes required to design and construct buildings, roads, wastewater treatment plants, and many other major facilities. The program is designed to fulfill the construction industry's need for technicians who support professional project managers. The curriculum concentrates on the application of principles to overall planning, coordination, and control of construction projects from beginning to completion.
The taught elements of the program comprise an integrated package of University requirements, College requirements and Major requirements.
Students seeking admission to this program must fulfill the following minimum entry requirements:
a. The student should have successfully passed the courses of all subjects of the general education diploma or its equivalence.
b. The student should achieve the standards set for the subjects of the General Foundation Program.
c. The student should have passed the following subjects to qualify for enrollment in the College of Engineering: Pure Mathematics.
d. The student must be medically fit.
Full time degree students can complete the program in 5 semesters (two and half years) on achieving 76 credit hours of study.
Special Part-Time or Evening Study.
Students may complete the program through special part-time attendance or by evening study.
The program facilitates entry to job and work opportunities in a number of markets and industrial settings such as:

o Civil and heavy construction
o Environmental construction, etc.
The graduate from this program can also pursue further studies and improve their academic qualifications by pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
A’Sharqiyah University (ASU) is a private institution of higher education located in the north of the A’Sharqiyah region of the Sultanate of Oman. It is located in Ibra 150 km from Muscat, the capital. It was established in 2009 by Ministerial Decision (78/2009) issued by the Ministry of Higher Education.
