Universities Research Ethics & Biosafety Committee (UREBC)
The University Research Ethics and Biosafety Committee (UREBC) was officially formed on June 11th 2020. The purpose of UREBC is to ensure that all research activities involving human, animal or other genetic/biohazardous considerations are well-planned, managed and monitored. All research projects shall first be approved by UREBC. Review of research proposals submitted to this Committee shall be undertaken continuously throughout the academic year; with the four meetings per year being reserved specifically for the Committee to reflect on its effectiveness and any other relevant business.
