Department of Humanities

Department of Humanities at A’Sharqiyah University (ASU) in Ibra, Sultanate of Oman enjoys a unique collaborative position among other faculties and departments. The Department was set up in the university in the year 2013 with the vision to integrate science and technology with human values and social understanding. It becomes operational with the College of Business Administration and has the honor to be the first department in the university. In Fall 2018-2019, the Department was shifted to the newly established College of Arts and Humanities. Since the inception of the department, it has secured the satisfaction from fellow faculties and students. Department plays its pro-active role in the progression of human knowledge through innovation in its course delivery.
